Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Futura Digital Inc. ("Futura", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial private‑sector privacy laws.

What Personal Information We Collect

  • Account details – name, company, email, mailing address, phone number.

  • Credentials & security data – hashed passwords, two‑factor‑authentication tokens, IP addresses, device and browser identifiers.

  • Usage data – pages visited, feature interactions, diagnostic logs, crash reports.

  • Payment identifiers – tokenized references from PayPal and Stripe (we do not store full credit‑card numbers).

  • Cookies – strictly necessary cookies for login and security; optional analytics cookies.

Why We Collect It

We identify and limit collection to purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, including:

  1. Service delivery – to set up tenant sites, process transactions, and provide support.

  2. Security & fraud prevention – to detect unauthorized access and protect the platform.

  3. Product improvement – to analyse traffic patterns and develop new features.

  4. Legal compliance – to meet statutory obligations and enforce our Terms and AUP.

  5. Marketing (optional) – to send product updates with express or implied consent under Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL).

Consent

We obtain express consent for sensitive information and implied consent where the purpose is obvious and information is supplied voluntarily (e.g., requesting a receipt email). You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

Limiting Use, Disclosure & Retention

Personal information is used or disclosed only for the identified purposes or as required by law. We retain information only as long as necessary to fulfil those purposes or meet legal requirements, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Cross‑Border Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, PayPal, Stripe) operate. We maintain contractual safeguards and remain accountable under PIPEDA for any third‑party processing.

Safeguards

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including TLS encryption in transit, AES‑256 encryption at rest, role‑based access controls, routine penetration testing, and incident‑response procedures.

Access & Accuracy

You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal information in our custody, subject to limited exceptions (e.g., solicitor–client privilege). Submit requests to [email protected]; we will respond within 30 days as required by PIPEDA.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
